Open-source networking and Software-Defined Networking are our core areas of expertise. So we were front and center at the ONF Connect conference in Santa Clara, CA on 10-13 September. This operator-led conference features keynotes from industry leaders and luminaries throwing off deep and precious insights into what is going on in the world of networking. Not only did we attend the conference, but we were also a sponsor.
Engineers from CodiLime’s R&D Department played an active role in the conference, presenting our solution on how to use VNFs that cannot be containerized in a CNF environment. Moving network functions from virtual machines (VMs) to containers that can be orchestrated with an orchestrator, such as Kubernetes, is shaping up to be the next big leap forward in networking. CodiLime wants to be part of this revolution in the making. If you’d like to have a look under the hood of our solution, check out our blog post “Uncontainerizable VNFs in a CNF environment”.
The ONF Connect conference was a great event and a unique opportunity to have many stimulating discussions. We will definitely be attending again next year.
