Network engineering specialist CodiLime today appointed Paweł Melon to its Management Board, strengthening the executive capabilities it will need to realize ambitious goals it has set for 2020 and beyond. Over the past nearly five years, Paweł has held the positions of Chief Development Officer and Chief Engineering Officer.
Marek Niedźwiedź, CodiLime’s CEO, was enthusiastic about the addition.
“Paweł has the unique combination of technical expertise, managerial experience and business acumen and will contribute significantly to the company’s strategy. His nomination to the Management Board bolsters our executive team and will help us stay on the right track to reach the ambitious goals we’ve set for 2020 and further. I am excited to have him on the Management Board.”
In 2019, CodiLime experienced dynamic growth as it won new important clients and strengthened its team with new top-notch engineers. Our engineers delivered technical presentations at prestigious international conferences including KubeCon, ONF Connect, ONS OpenStack Summit, and InfoShare. These presentations are the fruit of work done by CodiLime’s R&D Department, which was established last year to foster innovative solutions in networking. In a bid to expand its portfolio of services, the company also launched new business lines including network-focused UX and Quality Assurance.
“I’m thrilled my work at CodiLime has been appreciated and that I’ve been entrusted with such an important role,” Melon explains. “I have been working at CodiLime for almost five years now and have witnessed the company’s rapid growth in terms of both new businesses and technical expertise. CodiLime has a strong technical team which puts it on the right path to becoming world leader in building advanced network solutions for top tech companies. We have a lot of experience with open-source solution Tungsten Fabric and as far as open-source is concerned we haven’t said our last word yet.”
2020 and the years beyond will see CodiLime expand its global client list and its expertise in networks, SDN and cloud native solutions. The company also plans to expand its focus on open-source initiatives that can benefit the global IT community.
