Some common networking terms clearly explained

What is NetOps in software development?

The acronym NetOps stands for “network operations”. As with DevOps and TestOps, it was coined to describe the new reality in network engineering where the emphasis is placed on network agility, network automation and network orchestration. Additionally, a NetOps approach in a company’s operations component means better alignment with its overall business goals. NetOps also involves using Software-defined networking (SDN), intent-based networking, and network function virtualization (NFV) in order to modernize networks.
